The IRATA Level 2 course is intended for technicians with an IRATA Level 1 certification who have at least one year of experience and 1,000 logged hours in rope work. This level is designed for those looking to develop advanced skills in complex rescue techniques and equipment installation for rope access.
Objetivo
The IRATA Level 2 course aims to provide participants with advanced knowledge of rope techniques, complex maneuvers, and rescues in more demanding situations. Additionally, technicians will be trained to supervise Level 1 technicians, conduct safety inspections, and manage rescue operations at height according to IRATA requirements. This course prepares participants to work autonomously and oversee tasks in rope access projects.
Requisitos del curso
- Be at least 18 years old.
- Hold a valid IRATA Level 1 card.
- Minimum of 1,000 logged hours of experience in the IRATA logbook.
- Have completed at least one year of experience as a Level 1 technician.
Duración del curso
The IRATA Level 2 course has a total duration of 6 consecutive days: 5 days of intensive training and 1 day of evaluation with an independent examiner.
Re-certification is conducted in the same format, lasting a total of 6 consecutive days.

Upon completing the course, you will receive:
- IRATA Certificate
- IRATA Card
- IRATA Logbook
The certification is valid for three years and can be renewed at any IRATA center worldwide, allowing you to work in multiple sectors and locations.
