    The Advanced Rope Access course is designed for:

    Technicians who already have experience in rope access and wish to develop advanced competencies in rescue, complex installations, and load handling at height.

    This program is ideal for:

    • Rope access technicians who want to progress to higher-level responsibilities.

    • Professionals working on complex industrial or construction projects.

    • Supervisors seeking to strengthen their skills in project safety and risk assessment.

    • Workers in sectors such as wind energy, telecommunications, and building maintenance.

    Objetivo

    The goal of this advanced rope access training is to equip participants with the knowledge and techniques to operate in high-risk and complex environments. Students will learn to:

    • Execute advanced rope access maneuvers.

    • Perform rescue operations in emergencies.

    • Install advanced rope systems: self-recoverable, redirects, and tensioned lines.

    • Handle loads at height using cross-haul and guided load techniques.

    • Supervise rope access work and assess risks in complex projects.

    This training ensures participants achieve a higher level of safety, competence, and professional recognition.

    To participate in the Advanced Rope Access Course, candidates must:

    • Be at least 18 years old.
    • Be in good physical condition suitable for rope access work.
    • Have prior experience in rope access.

    Duración del curso

    The advanced rope access course has a duration of 40 hours, spread from Monday to Friday.

    Certificación y Validez

    Upon completion, participants receive certification valid for 3 years.
    The certification is recognized under Spanish legislation (RD 2177/2004) and aligned with international rope access best practices.

    • Training materials and access to advanced equipment.

    • Certificate issuance upon successful completion.

    • Instruction by internationally certified IRATA instructors.

    • Vertical progression using blockers, rope changes, and horizontal movement techniques.
    • Advanced installations: self-recoverable systems, tensioned ropes, redirects, and short rigging.
    • Advanced rescue techniques: rescuing suspended individuals using blockers, redirects, and short rigging.
    • Load handling at height, including cross-lifting systems and advanced guided loads.
