    The Temporary Lifeline Installation Course is aimed at

    Professionals and technicians who work at heights or in environments with a risk of falling, and who require the installation, use, and maintenance of temporary lifelines as part of their daily activities.

    It is especially relevant for:

    • Construction and industrial maintenance workers.

    • Wind energy and telecommunications technicians.

    • Safety managers responsible for fall protection systems.

    • Companies seeking compliance with European standards and Spanish regulations.

    Objetivo

    The goal of this temporary lifeline training is to equip participants with the skills to install, verify, and safely use both horizontal and vertical lifelines in work-at-height environments.

    At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

    • Correctly select and use approved PPE and lifeline systems.

    • Understand the difference between fall arrest systems and restraint lifelines.

    • Install, check, and maintain temporary and permanent lifelines.

    • Apply evacuation and rescue procedures in case of emergency.

    • Work in compliance with RD 2177/2004 and European Standard EN 795.

    • Be in good health and physical condition to perform work at heights.

    • No previous experience required.

    The Temporary Lifeline Installation Course lasts 8 hours in a single day, combining theory and practical exercises on real structures.

    Certificación y Validez

    Upon successful completion, students receive an official Temporary Lifeline Installation certification valid for 3 years.
    This certification complies with:

    • Spanish Regulation RD 2177/2004 (minimum safety requirements for rope access).

    • European Standards EN (EN 795 for anchors and lifelines).

    This ensures that the training is recognized both in Spain and across the EU.
